Still Time | 2013 |
|
Still Time | 2013
Site-specific installation
Pictured in the exhibition, Terra Incognita, curated by Katrina Rhein at the Castle Gallery, College of New Rochelle, January 29 - March 31, 2013.
Terra Incognita presents the work of artists who are interested in the connection between physical and psychological spaces, through spacescapes, cityscapes, landscapes, and bodyscapes. Still Time is intended to quietly overwhelm viewers with the slow, sure progress of geologic time, inviting them to feel the infirmness of the ground on which we stand, and the impermanence of the structures that support our lives.

Room and Pillar | 2012 |
|
Room and Pillar | 2012
A subterranean intervention at the Window Jane Mine on the Snyder Estate in Rosendale, New York. A relic of the once-flourishing cement mining industry, this large limestone mine is within a 32-square-mile seam of limestone between High Falls and Kingston (NY) where it was often said that just as much went on underground as above ground.
